A review of research on bullying and mental health of LGBTQ students in China

LGBTQ people have been suffering from school bullying and higher mental health risks. In recent years, scholars around the world focused on phenomenon of subsequent effects people. This paper composes relevant studies by Chinese summarizes unique psychological exposure students in cultural context.The study found that gender stereotypes heteronormative hegemonic concepts traditional culture, filial culture family imperfection sexuality education can negatively affect schools, which turn affects students. educators need to improve system practice sex education.
